ABOUT US

Bondy firm was founded at the end of the year 1989 in Brno. The firm premises are located in Modřice, Komenského street and currently they cover 5 000 square meters. Piece and small- lot production of worm, chain and conical transmissions form the main part of our manufacturing.

We hob the spur gears or slot them using Maag and Fellows methods. Milled gear can be finished by generating or profile grinding depending on the type of a cogwheel.   Inner toothing is provided by Fellow method.

Conical wheels are slotted by straight or oblique toothing. We mill eloid spiral toothing Oerlikon.

The chain wheels of standard pitch and cylinder parameters are hobbed , in case of atypical dimensions we can provide milling separately using a CNC miller. Worms are manufactured by milling helix with possible final grinding. Worm wheels are milled radially or tangentially with a cutting tool.

Outer involute slotting in accordance with CSN 01 4950, DIN 5480 and DIN 5482 is milled in a self-generating way, the internal ones are produced using Fellow method or separately.

Outer equilateral slotting in accordance with CSN 01 4942, ČSN 01 4943 and CSN 014944 is milled with possible final grinding of grooves , inner one is hobbed separately.

The staff of the Bondy firm tries to observe high professional standard and good quality of the products. Apart from common controlling activities we provide measuring of external toothing at the control centre of the firm Klingelnberg model PNC 40. Measuring wheels with head circle  diameter bigger than 400 mm is provided externally.

Apart from producing toothing the Bondy firm provides standard machinery production – lathe-turning, milling, slotting, round and flat hole grinding.

Draft documentation supplied by customers or a sample component can be used as a base for manufacturing. In case of sample components we work out the documentation needed ourselves with no charge and after manufacturing given component the documentation stays in our holding and it is kept for the case of a potential repeated order. Upon the agreement the documentation can be charged and it is then the possession of a customer.

For our production all available materials  are used – common low-carbon steels, steels for heat treating, steels for cementation and hardening. However, thanks to a wide net of suppliers we are able to provide less common materials of specific qualities, for example stainless , hardening and tool steel etc., various kinds of alloy, alloy of non-ferrous metals and last but not least homogenous and antifriction metals.

The Bondy firm provides heat- treating of its products with the help of subcontractors who possess the technologies needed and provide heat- treating, cementation, hardening, SF, VF within a short time. They set the prices corresponding with our long partnership.

As for our products we are also able to arrange different kinds of surface working, paintings etc. using the services of our subcontractors.

The locksmithery  can provide all the locksmith´s work – cutting, bending, burnings, coated electrode welding, flame welding, MIG/MAG etc.

Sideline production is represented by machine maintenance.  Within this activity the Bondy firm offers general overhaul and renovation of grinders for toothing OBP 32 or NZA, AZA etc. Upon the agreement the general overhaul of other types of cogged machines can be arranged.

Detailed information on our manufacture possibilities will be provided by a technology department of the Bondy firm, which deals with consultancy related to toothing.
